In 2014, Zaitunay Bay became one of the vibrant stages of the 10th edition of the Beirut Street Festival, welcoming a diverse lineup of international artists and performers from across Europe and the Middle East.

Throughout the festival, the waterfront was transformed into an open-air cultural space where visitors could experience street music, contemporary dance, physical theatre and interactive performances in a relaxed seaside setting. The Panoramic Stairs became a natural gathering point, bringing audiences closer to the performers and creating an atmosphere that was energetic, informal and engaging.

The programme featured artists from countries including France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Iran, Greece and Turkey, each bringing a different style, rhythm and creative expression to the event. From dynamic dance performances and live street music to imaginative theatrical acts, the festival celebrated artistic diversity and cultural exchange.

By hosting part of the Beirut Street Festival, Zaitunay Bay offered visitors more than a waterfront destination, it became a meeting place for art, movement, music and community, adding another cultural dimension to the experience of the bay and contributing to Beirut’s lively urban spirit.
